Grimbb is a PHP 4 Open Source Embedded Flat File Pseudo-Relational Database Bulletin Board System. It is intended to provide webmasters with an efficient means of communicating publically with all their site visitors. Furthermore, GrimBB is designed to be utilized on free webhost providers which do not provide access to databases such as MySQL, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
GrimBB is designed to be utilized on free webhost providers since these do not always provide access to a database. It involves no database considerations on part of the webmaster since the database that powers GrimBB is spontaneously generated. This makes GrimBB the ideal choice for webmasters who: want a forum on their site but would be otherise unable to provide one, have no experience or don't care to deal with database issues.
GrimBB is open source this implies that others can make changes to the original code. The only thing I ask in return is that you send a link back to here be it graphical or textual somewhere on your own site in a visible place. GrimBB has code in it that does that. If you don't change that particular code then this will always be satisifed. However, you can change that and anything else in its code at your discretion. Only reason I ask for a link back is so that others can make use of GrimBB.
